Fellow REC Executive Committee Members,
I’m extremely excited about our upcoming Reagan Day Dinner on Saturday, November 4, 2023, in Key West, with House Oversight Committee Chairman, Congressman James Comer serving as our Keynote Speaker. I can't wait to hear from the Chairman; he has taken a central role in investigating this administration and Hunter Biden.
"Every week we find more information, more pseudonyms, more communication between Joe Biden and his family, more shell companies, more wire transfers. So this is getting worse by the day." — @RepJamesComer
In addition, Riley Gaines NCAA competitive swimmer who has campaigned nationally against the participation of trans women in women's sports. She will be joining us as our Special Guest. More details will be forthcoming after the Labor Day Holiday.
The attendance and enthusiasm at our local club meetings are outstanding. I firmly believe our grassroots momentum will continue into 2024. Beyond the presidential race, we have U.S. Senator Rick Scott up for re-election, with former Congressman Debbie Mucarsel-Powell now opposing him. As the election nears, the local party intends to conduct multiple GOTV workshops with all Republican candidates on the ballot to ensure maximum voter turnout in November 2024.
I wish you all a wonderful Labor Day weekend. If you have any questions or issues, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
See you all soon! September 23, 11:00 am at the Key Largo Civic Center for our monthly REC meeting.
Blessings,
Rhonda Rebman Lopez
Chairman, Republican Party of Monroe County
